This source is just basic talking about the how you can use this for your nicotine addition and how you can get nicotine independence.  The link between nicotine administration, depression and schizophrenia are also discussed. Finally, a theoretical model of the neurobiological mechanisms underlying acute nicotine withdrawal and protracted abstinence involves alterations within dopaminergic, serotonergic, and stress systems that are hypothesized to contribute to the negative affective state associated with nicotine abstinence.

This source is pretty much how the body mechanisms will deal with the withdrawal of nicotine and how the stress and depression will come into play with the withdrawal. This will tell you depression and stress will hit you hard but have to stand strong and not let it take over you.

My reflection is dealing with nicotine addiction is really hard and will take alot of time to get over. This even puts more stress on someone with nicotine addiction when depression is involved because nicotine withdrawal will hit and will hit hard and some people don’t know how to deal with it and go back to nicotine.

This writing is talking about the effect of how it can really damage your lives and where it started. Soaring teen addiction. Kids on life-support. Weird deaths. Terrifying lung damage. A scramble for data. A criminal investigation. The awful news about vaping just keeps coming. And all this from the e-cigarettes that, when they were legalized in Canada last year, were pitched as far safer than cigarettes. Instead of inhaling the cancer-causing smoke of burning tobacco, adults would get their nicotine fix by breathing in the aerosol of a flavoured liquid, heated in a stick or pen just enough to become vapour. Vapes were said to be a social good, a powerful tool in the worthy global effort to get people off smoking, and maybe off nicotine, too.

This writing is a really good source on how it is forms by where it was first originated like the e cigarettes in Canada. Also talks about all the effect from doing this and what they will see when they do it for a long time or even a short amount of time it can affect you. This also talks about how vaping went from a good thing to a really bad thing.

Juul has taken over the world in nicotine for young adults and kids. They have sold flavored pods that contain over 20 cigarettes in one pod and they’re 4 pods in one pack of juul pods. This source talks about how Juul is killing the youth and how to stop them from getting addicted to this cancer stick.
